So, fell running. You spend twice as long running up as you do down. Training harder doesn’t seem to make it any easier. As soon as you take it easy, you slow down. It’s an uphill struggle. But it’s great.

This is a log of my experiences running, the all-consuming exhaustion of running up hills and the painful thrills of running down them.

And, for races and routes, it’s an attempt to create a page for reach race that has all the info you need when making your plans – a description, route, profile, links etc.

Me: I’m Giles Simon. I run with Calder Valley, occasionally race, and am happy if I’m in the top 20% at the end.
